5G is expected for 2020. In the meantime, we have the 4G+.
Basically, 4G+ is an even faster version of 4G. It is known by specialists as LTE-Advanced. This is an upgrade to the LTE (Long Term Evolution) standard, with various benefits including significantly higher speeds on compatible mobile networks.
This technological innovation improves customers’ internet usage and allows them to download various digital contents (videos, applications…) faster than using the 4G network.
In technical terms, Orange uses three frequency bands for its 4G network: 2.6 GHz, 1800 MHz and 800 MHz. To achieve 4G+, two or three of these frequency bands are combined, and the more bands you combine, the quicker the speeds you get.
In 60 seconds you will know everything!
Simply put, “60 sec to understand” is the most enjoyable (and the fastest!) way to make sense of the latest digital trends. However complex they may be, all will become clear about the new technologies that you use or will be using on a daily basis. And be warned: you’re going to enjoy it.
